| It is located 14 km southeast of Harran; south-southeast of Sanliurfa. It measures 180 m in the north-south and 130 m in east-west direction. It is an oval mound rising about 8 m above the plain level. There is a modern village nearby. It is also known as Biraburgeç. It was visited by N. Yardimci during the survey of Harran Plain. EBA is represented by hard-fired sandy wares. The surface finds also include Chalcolithic and 1st millennium BC material. |
