The site lies southwest of Burdur; northeast of Gölhisar; 4-5 km southeast of Beyköy; in Abdülmelik Plain. According to Mellaart; who surveyed the Lake District in 1951; Beyköy is an EBA settlement. In 1989; a surface collection was made by M. Özsait. Potsherds from the Late Chalcolithic Age were found. The sherds are of grit and organic tempered; red slipped; burnished ware. Both surfaces of the vessels are slipped. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
