It lies on a natural rocky hill; about 500 m west of the village of Elmali; between the villages of Kavacik and Musa; 9 km east of Çorum. The mound measures 100x50x10m. A small stream flows below its slope facing the village of Elmali. It was discovered in 2002 during the survey conducted by T. Yildirim and T. Sipahi. Traces of fortification walls can be seen partially on the surface. The ceramics collected belong to the EBA. |
