The mound leans on a rocky hill measuring 75x30 m; 500 m from Çorum stream; in the plain between the turnout of Cemilbey and Amasya roads; 24 km southeast of Çorum. The site; which leans of the southern section of the rocky hill; measures about 100x50 m. It was discovered in 2002 by T. Yildirim and T. Sipahi and named as Bogaz. The ceramics collected during this survey belong to the EBA; Hittite Period and Iron Age. |
