It is located on the main road before the Saray-Kayi turnout; 16 km from Çorum; between the villages of Ovasaray and Sekerbey. It measures 150x200x5 m. It was discovered in 2002 by T. Yildirim and T. Sipahi. Plenty of pottery sherds were collected especially from the southeastern section of the mound. Handmade monochrome EBA sherds reflecting the characteristics of the region were abundantly encountered on the surface. Gray; dotted and line decorated sherds; which were also found in the early layers of Büyük Güllücek ; Kussaray; Bogazköy/Büyükkaya and Alacahöyük and dated o the end of Chalcolithic by the excavators; were also collected. |
