It is below the cemetey area; 600 m southeast of the village of Göcenovacigi; in the province of Çorum. It measures 250x150x15 m. There is a fresh water spring nearby the settlement. Plenty of pottery sherds were collected from the southern section of the mound during the survey conducted by T. Yildirim and T. Sipahi in 2002. The assemblage belongs to the Late Chalcolithic; EBA; 2nd millennium BC and Iron Age. The Late Chalcolithic material includes incised; plain; black burnished; polished; hand-made sherds which are well known from the mound of Büyük Güllücek located 15 km west of the site. This type; decorated with parallel diagonal lines; and sometimes with triangles or hatches appears at the beginning of the EBA as documented in the Ikiztepe excavations in the central Black Sea Region.
