The mound is located in Akmescit Mevkii; 11.5 km southwest of the district of Gelendost in the province of Isparta. It was discovered in 2002 during the survey conducted by M. Özsait. The mound is about 8 m high from the plain level from its undamaged side. It measures 175 m in diameter. Besides the EBA sherds; the site has also yielded MBA; LBA and Roman Period materials. |
