| The mound is located in the Turnaçayiri Mevkii of the village of Ortaova; 6 km southeast of the district of Merzifon; province of Amasya. It was discovered during the survey of M. Özsait in 2002. The site has yielded EBA material as well as 3rd millennium BC and Iron Age finds. |
