| The site is located in the village of Gürünköy; district of Ladik; province of Samsun. It was discovered in 2002 during the survey conducted by M. Özsait. Besides the EBA material; the mound has also yielded finds belonging to Iron Age; Roman and Late Antiquity periods. |
