| It is located approximately 1 km northeast of the village of Hacigelen; in the district of Lapseki; province of Çanakkale. Pottery sherds dating from the EBA and earlier were collected during the survey of N. Aslan in 2002. Remains of a stone walled building were encountered on the western section of the mound. It was visited during TAYEx Bizans Marmara in 2008 and very few sherds, silex and tile fragments were found on the mound [TAYEx 2008]. |
