Kuzun Stream flows north of the mound; which lies 1 km east of Akçigdem Village; northeast of Refahiye District of Erzincan Province. EBA materials collected from the surface during the survey conducted by A. Ceylan in 2002. There are also samples of Karaz ware among the surface finds. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The mound was revisited during the survey performed by Günasdi and his team in 2010 [Günasdi et al. 2012:51]. |
