| It lies in Zoran Mevkii near Dirsekli Village; 3.5 km north of Cizre District of Sirnak Province. West of the mound is Tigris River and Cizre-Sirnak motorway. It is 160 m in diameter and 16 m in height. Potsherds; obsidian; stone pot; grindstone and flints collected from the surface during the survey conducted by G. Kozbe in 2004. It is reported that typical profiles; which can be dated to a specific period does not exist among the finds; but Late Chalcolithic and Third millennium BC sherds can easily be recognized. |
