| It lies 1.5 km northwest of Belevi Sub-District; northeast of Amasya Province. It was discovered in 1998 during a survey conducted by S. Dönmez. Two mounds lie next to the road. Ikiztepe I measures 10 m in height and 100x70 m in dimensions. Materials belonging to the EBA; the Late Iron Age; the Hellenistic; Roman and Byzantine Periods were collected from the surface. |
