It is in the hilly area to the south-southeast of the village of Eskiçine; south of the district of Çine in the province of Aydin. It was discovered by E. Akdeniz during the survey of Büyük Menderes Valley in 1995. It is reported that EBA potsherds were abundantly seen around the elevation that looks like a cut hill and in an old river bed below it. It is suggested that this area; which is on the trade line that runs towards south from the Çine stream valley; might have been used for the same purposes in the earlier periods.
