The mound; measuring 80x70 m; lies southwest of the city of Ordu; west-northwest of Mesudiye; south of Ansa spring; north bank of Sahanli creek. Its height is lowered down to the level of the plain because of being dug by the illicit diggers. The site was discovered by M. Özsait in 1990. The collected sherds date back from the Early Chalcolithic Age to EBA. |
