| It lies about 23 km east of Emirdag; northeast of Afyonkarahisar Province. It is located southeast of Bolvadin and 100 m west of Bolvadin-Çay motorway. The settlement determined by J. Mellaart at first; then in 2002 Ö. Koçak visited the mound. The finds collected by Koçak were dated to Chalcolithic and EBA. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. In 2012, the mound was re-visited during the survey conducted by Koçak and his team. The materials were collected from three areas of the mound: the north skirt, the summit and the south skirt [Koçak 2014:81]. |
