It lies on the bank of Bogazkaya stream; 4 km southeast of the village of Bogazkaya in the province of Kirsehir. It is a conical mound measuring 120 m in diameter and 18 m in height. The settlement is surrounded by fields. It was discovered in 1995 during the survey of Central Anatolia conducted by S. Omura. Sherds dating to the EBA; MBA; LBA and Iron Age were collected from the surface. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
