It lies 4 km southeast of the village of Kuruagil in the province of Kirsehir. It measures 180 m in diameter and 14 m in height. The northern side of the mound is steep while the southern is slightly sloping. Traces of illicit diggings were observed. It was discovered in 1995 during the survey of Central Anatolia conducted by S. Omura. Sherds dating to the EBA; MBA; LBA and Iron Age were collected from the surface. |
