It stands on Bekçitepe (Bastepe) which is 770 m high above the sea level; 1 km west of Tasliyurt Village; west of Amasya Province. It was discovered in 1987 during a survey conducted by M. Özsait. Exteriorly grayish-black and interiorly buff washed EBA pottery with a plant; grit and calcite tempered paste was collected from the surface. Also found is plenty of blades and blade cores in flintstone. |
