It lies 1 km east of the village of Çalis in the district of Haymana; province of Ankara. There is a swamp between the mound and the village. The settlement is damaged by agriculture and illicit diggings. The numerous small stones seen on the surface are suggested to be the remains of architecture. It was discovered in 1993 during the survey of Central Anatolia conducted by S. Omura. Sherds dating to the EBA; MBA; LBA and Iron Age were collected from the surface. |
