The mound lies 1.5 km northeast of the village of Çiftevi in the district of Ortaköy; province of Aksaray. It measures 120 m in diameter and 25 m in height. It was discovered in 1990 during the surveys conducted in the Central Anatolia under the leadership of S. Omura. Sherds dating to the EBA; MBA and Iron Age were collected. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
