It lies in the channel of the Kazanözü stream; 3 km southwest of the village of Çalapverdi in the district of Yenifakili; province of Yozgat. It measures 145 m in diameter and 9.5 m in height. It was discovered in 1990 during the surveys conducted in the Central Anatolia under the leadership of S. Omura. The surface finds consist of sherds dating to the EBA; MBA; LBA and Iron Age. |
