It is located 2 km southwest of the village of Akpinar in the district of Kaman; province of Kirsehir. The mound measures about 180 m in diameter and 26 m in height; and there is a water source on its northwestern slope. Remains of stone walls were observed on the steep southern slope. It was discovered in 1986 during the Survey of Kirsehir Province conducted by S. Omura. Ceramic sherds dating to EBA; Iron Age and Classical periods were collected from the surface. |
