It is located in Bugdaypazari Mahallesi (Eski Samadolu); southwest of the district of Merzifon in the province of Amasya. The settlement; which lies among the fertile fields; is seriously destructed and only a small section of it has survived. It is 4 m high. It was discovered in 2001; during the Survey of Samsun and Amasya Provinces conducted under the directorship of M. Özsait. EBA; Iron Age and Byzantine ceramics were found on the surface. |
