This site is located in the city of Gaziantep; Karkamis district; Günaltı village. It is the ridge called Kindirgalik which takes place about 2 km northeast of the village and north of Günaltı-Kefri road. This site was discovered in 2000 by a team leaded by H. Taskiran during the project of "The Palaeolithic Survey in the Carchemish Dam Reservoir Region" coordinated by METU TAÇDAM (Center for Research and Assessment of the Historic Environment). Kindirgalik Sirti yields moderately abundant Low and Middle Palaeolithic finds [Taskiran 2002:425]. Code W48/47.
