The site lies about 1 km west of Suboyu (Kefre) Village in Karkamis District; Gaziantep Province. Kefri-Günalti road passes over the hill and it measures 375 m in height. This site was discovered in 2000 by a team under H. Taskiran during the project of "The Palaeolithic Survey in the Carchemish Dam Reservoir Region" coordinated by METU TAÇDAM (Center for Research and Assessment of the Historic Environment). Lower Palaeolithic materials were rarely seen on the top of the hill and especially on the southern slopes that lie through Yedigöz Stream. Total 11 finds were gathered [Taskiran-Kartal 2002:425].
