The site takes place around Salur village in Orta district; which is located west of Çankiri province. The site is discovered in 1999 during the "Paphlagonia Survey" conducted by R. Matthews. The collected tools date to the Lower Palaeolithic and two of to the Middle Palaeolithic. |
