| It is located about 2 km northwest of the district of Gülsehir in the province of Nevsehir. The mound lies 400 m south of the Kizilirmak River; on a conglomerate terrace 4-5 m above the alluvium of the river. Its base diameter measures about 100x70 m. It is 15 m high together with the terrace and on the southern section about 8 m above the terrace. The majority of the collected material consists of EBA sherds; plenty of 2nd millennium BC; Iron Age and Byzantine sherds are also available. |
