| The site is located within the boundaries of Siirt province; west of Basur stream; on its torrent bed. The bare mound with structural remains on the top is 20 m high and 100x175 m in diameter. It is discovered during the 1963 survey conducted by the University of Istanbul and Chicago Oriental Institute. The earliest finds date to Halaf-Ubaid Transition Period. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
