| It lies 17.5 km northwest of Emirdag; northeast of Afyonkarahisar Province. Presence of EBA sherds was reported among the pottery collected by a team under by J. Mellaart. There is a fortress; 1 km west of the village. It is also included in the EBA settlements in the guide of the Afyon Archaeological Museum. J. Mellaart includes it in the cultural group of Türkmendag-Emirdag EBA II. It is not illustrated as a mound in the 1:200.000 map. |
