It lies on the slope of a natural mound located east of Çaltepe Village; about 10 km west of Mesudiye District; south of Ordu Province. It was discovered in 1992 during the Ordu-Mesudiye survey conducted by M. Özsait. On the slopes facing the Melek Stream; limited number of EBA pottery was recovered as well as pottery dating from the Phrygian Period. |
