The mound lies south of Ankara; southeast of Haymana; 1.2 km west of Yenice village. It is a 122x190 m round mound; measuring 5 m in height. The slightly damaged site was discovered by the team under the leadership of S. Omura in 1993. The team claims that the collected pottery from the surface dates to the Chalcolithic Age and EBA. The Chalcolithic Age monochrome ceramics are high chaff-tempered. |
