It lies where Kiziltepe is located; southwest of Mardin Province. It was re-visited by the excavation team of Nusaybin-Girnavaz during the survey conducted in the valley of the Zergan Stream in 1991-1992. It is one of the nine mounds adjacent to the stream inside the valley. It is located on the eastern bank. Material collected from the surface was analyzed. Particularly forms of bowl were recovered [Ay 1993: pl.XXVIII/197]. This type of ware is dated to the Early Dynasty II-III in the region. Exposure of the sherds dating from the Late Assyrian Period exposes the significance of the settlement [Ay 1995:15; 19]. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
