Limited number of cist graves dating from the EBA was found in the area southeast of Yuvadami Village on the Sütay Plateau; 10 km north of Ahlat; northwest of Van Province. The cemetery dating from the second millennium BC is located on a wider area to the east-southeast of the village. It is located on a plateau; 350 m higher than the Lake Van. The cemetery was plundered just like the EBA graves. The survey conducted by A. Özfirat of the Karagündüz excavation team yielded sherds of the high necked red-black mottled and burnished ware (Karaz or Early Transcaucasian) and the Nahçevan/Nackhievan type of handled ware [Özfirat 1994:drw.2]. They were broken during the illicit diggings in the surrounding territory of those graves. The settlement of this cemetery could not be found. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
