It lies nearby the Mucur-Gülsehir motorway; southeast of Hacibektas District of Nevsehir. It was excavated by K. Balkan and O. Sümer in 1967-1977 and finds of EBA, MBA, Hittite Imperial Period, Post Hittite, Phrygian, Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine periods were observed [Türker 2015:238]. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism |
