| It is located about 1 km north of Solmaz Village; 12 km southwest of Tavas District; south of Denizli Province. It has an absolute height of 832. It should be the mound identified by D. H. French as an EBA settlement. In the 1:200.000 map; there is a mound sign on the east of the village. It is assumed that J. Mellaart had also seen Solmaz A since he named the other mound as Solmaz B. No EBA pottery was recovered during the surface collection carried out by J. Mellaart. The surface collection carried out by D.H. French yielded EBA material. |
