It lies on the southern bank of the Tohma Stream; in the Toygar (Silbistan) Village; immediate north of Kayali Village; close to the Hasirci IV settlement; 4-5 km north of Battalgazi District; north of Malatya Province. It was discovered by C.A. Burney. It measures 5 m in height and 75 m in diameter. Variations of the black burnished Karaz ware with exterior and interior surfaces in black; exterior in black and interior in red; and samples of the red-brown burnished ware and the painting decorated ware were collected from the surface. Also found are the Chalcolithic Age sherds. |
