It is located at Çignikkapi Mevkii; some 1 km northwest of the Aricilar Plateau; 4 km southeast of Aricilar Village; south of Ordu Province. It was discovered during the 1991 Ordu-Mesudiye survey conducted by M. Özsait. Very restricted number of fine grit tempered and black-gray colored EBA pottery was collected from the surface. It is reported that the site was occupied as a late-period cemetery. |
