| It lies 1 km north of Tokullu Village; northwest of Sungurlu; southwest of Çorum Province. It was discovered by T. Sipahi and T. Yildirim. It is a very flat mound. It measures 150x200 m in dimensions. It has become flattened due to heavy cultivation. During the surface collection; sherds of the EBA; the MBA; the LBA; the Iron Age and the Roman Period were found. It is reported that a seal from the Hittite Period preserved in the Ankara Museum of Anatolian Civilizations was recovered here. EBA pottery is comparable with the pottery of Alacahöyük. |
