| It was obscured by the village it was named after; on the southern end of Altinova; east of Elazig Province. It was discovered in 1967; however disappeared since 1974 as it was flooded by the Keban Dam. In fact; it is not clearly known if it is a mound since it laid beneath the village of that period. It was reported to measure 8-9 m in height and 150-100 m in dimension. According to R. Whallon; as a result of the surface collection carried out among the village houses; it is accepted that there are hidden settlements dating from the EBA I-II-III which were obscured by an Middle Age settlement. It is coded under 55 / 10. |
