The mound lies 31 km west of Siirt; 8.5 km west of Kurtalan district; 500 m southeast of Magrip village and 50 m south of Batman-Kurtalan motorway. There is an oil refinery north-northeast of the mound. The name is attained by us regarding the closest village to the mound with a height of 5 m and a diameter of 25 m. It is discovered during the 1963 survey conducted by the University of Istanbul and Chicago Oriental Institute. Probable Uruk Period sherds are collected from the surface. The location code is S 63 / 4.
