It lies about 400 m south of the Eskisehir-Bursa highway; 3 km east of Pazaryeri District; southwest of Bilecik Province. It was discovered by D.H. French in 1965; and investigated by T. Efe afterwards. Materials of the Middle and Late Chalcolithic Ages; the EBA I and III as well as the pottery of the second millennium BC were collected from the surface. Silex and sherds were found above the mound and environs during the visit by TAYEx Bizans Marmara in 2008 [TAYEx 2008]. |
