It lies on the southern bank of the Ovaköy Stream; in Ovaköy Village; about 10 km southeast of Balikesir Province. It measures 100x12 m. It was discovered in 1959 by D.H. French; and investigated by M. Özdogan in 1987 under the name of Ovaköy Üyücek. It is one of the major settlements in the region which yields whole phases of the EBA. Code K8/6. It was visited during the survey conducted by D. Yalçikli and his team in 2015 [Yalçikli 2017:418]. |
