It lies southwest of Bolu Province. It was discovered during a survey conducted by C.A. Burney in 1955 and dated to EBA. It is possible that it is the same mound discovered by O. Arik in 1944 on the south of the Forestry School. Arik reported that there was a military station and an ammunition store on the mound (Arik 1944:344).
