It lies beneath the Castle of Hinsir Mansur located in Merkez District. The castle was known to be built during the Arabic Period while it was repaired during the Seljukian Period. The mound measures 25x200x200 m. Painted sherds of EBA III were recovered. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It was visited during the survey conducted by S. Ezer and his team in 2013 [Ezer et al. 2015:182]. |
