| The mound is located southwest of Burdur; northeast of Karamanli subdistrict; on the ridges west of Karatas lake; on a natural elevation 300 m west of the Burdur-Karamanli-Tefenni highway. The name Ñattained by M. ÖzsaitÑ is the name of the village in which the mound; measuring 250x150 m; lies. By the northwest skirts; Bademli stream runs; on the section that see the stream and on southeastern skirts; sherds in Early Chalcolithic Age pottery known from Hacilar were recovered during the 1982-83 survey by M. Özsait. Here; also; an EBA settlement exists. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. |
