| It lies approximately 3 km northeast of Saçakli Village; northeast of Hatay Province. The site was discovered during the Amuq Plain Survey conducted by the Chicago Oriental Institute. The flat settlement is named as AS (Amuq Survey) 181; and it is located 500 m north of AS 180 / Khirbet alÐHajar. A Neolithic Age potsherd dating back to Amuq A/B phases and cooking pots dating back to Amuq F/G were found on the surface. |
