The mound is located in the city of Adiyaman. The remains of Hinsi Mansur (the castle of Mansur) which was built in the Arabian Period and restored by the Seljukians; are seen on the mound. The mound was discovered by C. Burney. The finds belong to Halaf Period. The site is under threat of the modern settlement. It takes place in the registered archaeological sites list prepared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It was visited during the survey conducted by S. Ezer and his team in 2013 [Ezer et al. 2015:182].
