It is located 1 km east of Çatova (Maraba) Village; north-northwest of Elbistan; north of Kahramanmaras Province. It is a very low mound. It is 2 m high. According to the distribution of pottery; it is suggested that the site measures at most 40x50 m in dimensions. During a survey conducted in 1962; samples of the mottled washed ware accepted as the EBA production were collected from the surface. It is also known as Maroba. It was also visited by Brown in 1962. |
