It lies 700 m far from the Sarimsak-Tilkilik road on the eastern bank of the Sarimsak Stream; south of Gerze District of Sinop Province. It was discovered during the Sinop Survey conducted by M.A. Isin. It measures 10 m in height and 100x75 in dimensions. Pottery of the EBA; the MBA and the Late Roman Period was collected from the surface. The EBA pottery is of buff and brown colored and burnished ware with a grit; seashell and plant tempered paste. |
